I always focus on the postive aspects of the location I am in and the people I am interacting with, my positive mental attitude to others has often helped my defuse an emotive situation. If you find yourself in a position in life where you can see conflict is about to occur think about the issue in hand from both sides and put forward the positive aspects of both parties views.

Often when you display a positive mental attitude towards the way they are behaving the conflict will gradually subside as each individual starts to see the other persons point of view. There is a lot of truth in the saying try standing in the other persons shoes, it really does help to diffuse conflict.

It makes no difference where you are a positive mental attitude can and will help you get through it even in hospital. It is a well documented fact that people who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness and treated as though they were about to die have deteriorated over time and died. Not just on one occassion there are many instances, sometimes when the post mortem is carried out the diagnosis was wrong, there was nothing wrong with the patient except that had a negative mental attitude and believed they would die;

Many people are searching for an easy way to make a fast buck, there are numerous people online looking up the wealth wikipedia hoping it will give them an insight into how they too can have a prosperous lifestyle. When you look round an area you will always find the slums, the lower class collective, but it often isn’t so easy to find the strong prosperous community within a town or city.

What causes this differential. I remember one of the proverbs in the bible the gist of which was; those who have shall be given more and those who have not will have even what they do have taken away. OK its not exactly what was written but the principle applies now just as it did then.

Those who have money are in a position to invest and make more money whereas those who are poor and even in debt have no means of facilitating an improvement. The strong prosperous communities and even niches within a community stick together to avoid the negative impact of the poor neighbours.

Why is this, maybe they are worried that they might be robbed, or that they might take pity on their fellow man and actually help them since they have the means to do so. Clearly the rationale is not a simple one, one can’t assume just because a prosperous individual lives in a high class area that they are avoiding the poorer areas of town. Rather they have chosen an area which suits their social needs and can fulfill other aspects of their lifestyle.

The schools are usually better and the range of goods in the shopping zones are often of a better quality. Many wealthy people spend their time on charitable endevours, helping those who are less fortunate than themselves to cope with their under privileged lifestyle. The issues are not restricted to individual areas or portions of a community.
