Childrens Healthy Living

Healthy living starts at birth its important with your family to promote your childrens healthy living by creating a suitable environment for them to grow up in. The mental development of children is just as important as what they eat. Many people including health advisor’s often focus purely on what we feed our children without considering their psychosocial development.

Think back to when you were young did you get told to eat your greens because they are good for you? Parents consider vegetables an essential part of their childrens healthy lifestyle but there is more to being healthy than food. Many people now go to work, both parents got to work and arrange child care. They want a better life for their children and provide all the physical ameneties, the care and the food but there is more to life than just the physical things we need.

Did you go to church as a child to develop your spiritual well being, I know I certainly did, but unfortunately society now does not lend itself well to regular attendance in church. This being the case we must find alternative approaches to living a healthy lifestyle. What is the alternative, everyone with children should look at how they can have good quality time with their children.

Quality time promotes your childrens healthy living so you must find a way to fit this into your lifestyle for your children to develop in a healthy way. You may think its impossible to spend time with your children. Are you too busy working or socialising maybe? Does your job take over your life preventing you from taking the time to be with those who should be the most important, your family.

Spend some time thinking about this as I did when I took my course with The Pacific Institute they taught me how to focus on the most important things in my life and what I should do to make sure I got them. Now I spend quality time with my children every day,  I’m not perfect, but then noone is, life would be boring if there were nothing to work towards.

The relationships we have in the world are what make us who we are.

Spread love in the world not hate.
